Directed shoots where you are

In the U.S., vetted freelance crews film on location on our behalf, working from our script, shot list and quality checklist.

02

One team from idea to publish

Scripting, filming, editing and motion graphics happen in the same team, so the idea never gets lost between vendors.

03

Built for the platform

Shots are planned from day one for Reels, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube and ads — instead of cropping a horizontal video afterwards.

04

More than one video per shoot day

We plan each shoot to produce a hero video plus Reels and stills, so the budget works for longer.

05

Professional sound and light

Clean audio and proper lighting are what separate a professional video from one that looks rushed.

The short guide

Planning a corporate or commercial video: budget, timeline and crew

How much does corporate video production cost?

A production budget is built from a handful of line items: the number of shoot days, the location, crew size, whether you need a presenter or actors, the depth of editing and motion graphics, and how many cut-downs and aspect ratios you need for social and paid media.

Price per minute is a misleading benchmark. A 30-second commercial can take more preparation than a three-minute company profile. After a short discovery call we send a written proposal that spells out exactly what is included, and where it makes sense we suggest a leaner option that still hits the goal.

How long does video production take?

Every project runs through pre-production (concept, script, shot list and logistics), production (the shoot) and post-production (edit, sound, color and revisions). Pre-production has the biggest impact on quality, and cutting it short is the most common reason a scene has to be reshot.

The real timeline depends on how quickly the script is approved, when speakers and locations are available, and how many review rounds you need. We put a written schedule for each stage in place before we start, so you know when every cut will land.

Who films the video, and where?

In the U.S., vetted freelance crews film on location on our behalf, working from our script, shot list and quality checklist. The location is usually your office, store, clinic, job site or event, because showing the real place and the real team builds trust faster than any backdrop.

When a full shoot is not needed, your team can record on a phone or with your own videographer using our shot list, and we handle the edit, captions, color and sound. Many projects combine both: one directed shoot day for the hero video, and phone footage for ongoing social content.

How do I choose a video production company?

Look at work that resembles the video you need, then ask who writes, who directs and who edits. When those roles are split across several vendors, ideas get diluted and deadlines slip.

Ask whether vertical formats are planned from the start, how many deliverables one shoot day can produce, how many revision rounds are included and which files you receive at the end. A production partner that answers these clearly will save you time and budget.

How do you get more than one video from a shoot day?

Plan the day around a hero video, then list the short cut-downs, Reels, ad variations and stills you want from the same footage. Shots for vertical formats are framed on the day instead of cropped later, so every version looks intentional.

That way one budget covers your website, your ads and weeks of social content, instead of a single video that gets posted once.
